Music Piano

The Piano Department at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts strives to provide students with a greater understanding of musical language. The focus is on artistry and collaboration in the pursuit of the students becoming young people who will forever appreciate and share the love of piano.
Performance opportunities include Impromptu (a non-traditional collaborative program featuring music from video games, musicals, and pop, rock, and jazz), Prism ( an annual concert sponsored by the author, James Patterson), and differentiated recitals given by each class.
